Baton Rouge City Court Warrant Records Search
Baton Rouge City Court has a public warrant lookup tool online at city.brla.gov/dept/citycourt/warrants. While this is a Baton Rouge City Court tool, some St. George residents may have warrants in this system if their case originated in Baton Rouge's jurisdiction. Search by last name, first name format. Results show name, file number, sex, race, date of birth, warrant type, judicial division, and date of arrest.
The court posts warrants daily but it can take 7 to 10 days for new data to appear. Call the City Constable's Office at (225) 389-3889 or (225) 389-3004 to check and confirm any warrant found online. This lookup is not official confirmation. It is a starting point.
St. George Court System Warrant Records
St. George is still establishing its own municipal services. For now, court matters go through the East Baton Rouge Parish courts. The 19th Judicial District Court at 300 North Boulevard, Suite 2501, Baton Rouge, LA 70801 handles felony and serious misdemeanor cases. Records phone is (225) 389-3950. Under La. C.Cr.P. Art. 202, arrest warrants require probable cause before a judge will sign them. Bench warrants come from missed court dates and stay active until a judge recalls them. All warrants issued through these courts get entered into the Louisiana law enforcement system so any officer in the state can see and act on them.
